The Student Service Center
The Student Service Center (SSC) provides students with a wide range of information and transactions related to enrollment, registration, financial aid, and more! The SSC offers many services on behalf of Student Affairs and the University.
Services Offered
We have advisors and counselors available to assist you in-person, by phone, or by email. The office is located in Lassen Hall, Room 1000. You must provide a government-issued ID or Sac State ID during your visit.

NEW financial aid updates when applying for the 2024-25 aid year! Due to these changes, the FAFSA and CADAA will open in December. The priority deadline will be extended to April 1 for this application period. Be sure to include Sac State’s federal school code: 001150. Learn more about the FAFSA Simplification Act on Student Aid’s website
Any class drops after 9/25/2023 are subject to a “W” grade to their student record. We encourage you to meet with your advisor prior to dropping. To drop a class, use the Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal Petition (Student) to initiate the process.
